1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the behaviors and content that are prohibited on Community Connect. It applies to all users of the platform including community members, event attendees, creators, and administrators. This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violating this policy is a violation of your agreement with Community Connect.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Community Connect:
- Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Harassing, threatening, intimidating, bullying, or engaging in abusive conduct toward any user — including through direct messages or group chats.
- Hate speech or content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
- Any exploitation or harm of minors — including sexual content involving minors. Such violations will be reported to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement immediately.
- Distributing malware, spyware, ransomware, viruses, or any other harmful or malicious code.
- Spamming, phishing, or engaging in deceptive practices — including fake event listings, misleading community descriptions, or fraudulent giveaways.
- Impersonating another person, user, administrator, or Community Connect staff member.
- Soliciting or harvesting personal data from other users without their explicit consent.
- Using the platform to organize, promote, or facilitate real-world violence or criminal activity.
- Spreading deliberate misinformation that could cause real-world harm, including health misinformation or election disinformation.
3. Messaging Abuse
Community Connect's messaging features — including direct messages and community group chats — must not be used to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, promotional content, or spam to other users.
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users through repeated or targeted messages.
- Send phishing links, malicious files, or deceptive content through any messaging channel.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to send messages or interact with the messaging system.
- Circumvent a user's block by using alternate accounts to resume contact.
- Share or distribute private messages or conversations without the consent of all participants.
4. Content & Intellectual Property
You may not post, share, stream, or distribute content that:
- You do not own or do not have the rights to use.
- Infringes on the copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Circumvents or attempts to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or other content protection technologies.
- Reproduces or distributes copyrighted music, video, images, or text without proper licensing or authorization.
- Misrepresents the origin or authorship of content.

5. Platform Integrity
You may not take any action that threatens the security, stability, or integrity of the platform. This includes:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, its systems, servers, or databases.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the platform's systems or networks without written authorization from Community Connect.
- Interfering with or disrupting platform performance, availability, or security.
- Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the platform without explicit written permission.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of any part of the platform.
- Bypassing or attempting to circumvent any authentication, access control, or security measure.
- Creating fake or duplicate accounts to evade enforcement actions or bans.
- Using the platform in a way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
6. Livestreams, Events & Payments
- Do not broadcast illegal, dangerous, or prohibited content in livestreams. See our Livestream Safety Policy for full details.
- Do not manipulate ticketing systems, create fake events, or misrepresent event details to collect payments.
- Do not engage in fraudulent payment behavior, including the use of stolen payment credentials.
- Do not initiate chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith. Chargeback abuse may result in account suspension and recovery of disputed funds.
- Do not sell, transfer, or resell event tickets or community access outside of authorized platform channels.
- Event organizers must deliver the experience advertised. Failure to do so without reasonable notice may result in mandatory refunds and suspension of creator privileges.
7. Privacy Violations
- Do not share another user's private information (address, phone number, financial details, private messages) without their explicit consent.
- Do not engage in doxxing — the public disclosure of private information with intent to cause harm or harassment.
- Do not record or capture private conversations and distribute them without consent from all parties.
- Do not use information obtained through Community Connect to contact, target, or track users outside the platform without consent.
8. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in the following actions depending on severity and frequency:
- Warning: A formal notice of the violation.
- Content removal: Immediate removal of the offending content or message.
- Feature restriction: Temporary loss of access to messaging, event creation, or livestreaming.
- Account suspension: Temporary suspension pending review.
- Permanent termination: Permanent ban with no right to appeal for severe violations.
- Legal action: Referral to law enforcement or civil legal proceedings where appropriate.
Community Connect is not obligated to follow a progressive enforcement schedule. We reserve the right to take immediate action — including permanent termination — for severe violations without prior warning.
9. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this policy, use the in-app reporting tools available on posts, profiles, messages, and livestreams, or contact us directly:
- Email: info@cconnect.vip with the subject line "AUP Violation Report"
- Include the username, content or URL involved, and a description of the violation.
- For urgent safety concerns — including threats of violence or child exploitation — reports are reviewed immediately.
False or malicious reports submitted in bad faith may result in action against the reporting account.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in platform features, community needs, or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
