1. Our Commitment
Community Connect is built to foster meaningful connections through communities, conversations, livestreams, and events. These guidelines exist to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for everyone on the platform — whether you are attending an event, chatting in a group, messaging a friend, or hosting a livestream. By using Community Connect, you agree to follow these guidelines and to help us maintain the kind of community we all want to be part of.
2. Respectful Conduct
Every person on Community Connect deserves to be treated with dignity. You agree to:
- Treat all users with respect and professionalism, both in public spaces and in private messages.
- Not harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users — including through repeated unwanted direct messages.
- Not post or share hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
- Not impersonate other users, community administrators, or Community Connect staff.
- Not engage in coordinated harassment campaigns or encourage others to target a specific user.
3. Messaging & Chat Conduct
These guidelines apply equally to direct messages and community group chats:
- Do not use messaging features to harass, spam, solicit, or send unsolicited promotional content to other users.
- Do not share links to malicious, illegal, or harmful content in any chat.
- Group chats are visible to all community members — keep conversations appropriate for the full community audience.
- Community admins may remove messages or participants from group chats that violate these guidelines. Use the block feature if you receive unwanted direct messages.
- Do not use messaging features to pressure, coerce, or manipulate other users.
4. Safety & Well-Being
- Do not encourage, promote, or glorify self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other behaviors that endanger health or life.
- Do not threaten or incite violence against any individual or group.
- No sexual exploitation or abuse of any kind, in any context.
- Child safety is non-negotiable. Any content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or facilitates harm to minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement immediately.
- If you encounter content that suggests someone is in immediate danger, please report it using the in-app tools or contact emergency services directly.
5. Content Standards
You are responsible for all content you post, share, or broadcast on Community Connect, including posts, event listings, community descriptions, messages, and livestreams. Content must comply with applicable laws and all platform policies. The following is strictly prohibited:
- Illegal, deceptive, or fraudulent content including misleading event listings or false advertising.
- Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted music, video, or written works.
- Distribution of malware, phishing links, spam, or any content designed to compromise device or account security.
- Explicit sexual content unless the platform has specifically enabled it for your context (Community Connect does not currently permit adult content).
- Misinformation that could cause harm, including health misinformation or content designed to deceive voters or undermine democratic processes.
- Content that facilitates or promotes illegal transactions, including the sale of controlled substances, weapons, or stolen goods.
6. Livestream & Event Behavior
- Livestream hosts are responsible for moderating their sessions and ensuring content complies with the Livestream Safety Policy.
- Do not disrupt, sabotage, or abuse in-person or virtual events hosted by other community members.
- Event organizers must accurately represent their events. Misleading descriptions, fake events, or no-shows without notice may result in suspension.
- Attendees must behave respectfully toward organizers, hosts, and other attendees — both online and at in-person events.
- Do not record or broadcast other attendees without their consent, particularly at in-person events.
7. Privacy & Consent
- Respect the privacy of others. Do not share another person's private information — including home address, phone number, or financial details — without their explicit consent.
- Do not engage in doxxing (publishing private information about someone to facilitate harassment).
- Do not share screenshots or recordings of private direct messages without the consent of all parties involved.
- Do not use contact information obtained through the platform to reach members outside of Community Connect without their consent.
8. Spam & Platform Integrity
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade bans, inflate engagement, or manipulate platform features.
- Do not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform or other users.
- Do not artificially inflate event attendance numbers, community member counts, or engagement metrics.
- Do not use Community Connect to redirect users to competing platforms in bad faith.
9. Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in the following actions, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation:
- Warning: A formal notice that a violation has occurred.
- Content removal: The offending post, message, or stream is removed.
- Feature restriction: Temporary loss of access to specific features such as messaging, event creation, or livestreaming.
- Account suspension: Temporary loss of access to the platform.
- Permanent ban: Irreversible termination of your account.
- Law enforcement referral: For severe violations including child exploitation, credible threats of violence, or fraud, we will report to the appropriate authorities.
Community Connect reserves the right to act immediately and without prior warning for severe violations. We do not follow a progressive enforcement schedule when safety is at risk.
10. Reporting Violations
If you witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it. You can use the in-app reporting tools available on posts, messages, profiles, and livestreams, or contact us directly:
- Email: info@cconnect.vip (Subject: "Community Guidelines Report")
- Include as much detail as possible: the username, content or message involved, and the nature of the violation.
- Reports are reviewed as quickly as possible. Urgent safety reports are prioritized.
We do not tolerate false or malicious reports submitted in bad faith. Repeated false reporting may result in action against the reporting account.
11. Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you may appeal by contacting us at info@cconnect.vip with the subject line "Enforcement Appeal." Please include your account details and a description of why you believe the action was taken in error. We will review all appeals and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Appeals do not guarantee reinstatement.
12. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Services after an update takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised guidelines.
