SMS Messaging Program
Last updated: September 8, 2026
Tribo sends optional text messages to members who ask for them. This page describes exactly what we send, how you turn it on, and how you turn it off. Text messages are never required — every part of Tribo works without them, and consent to receive them is not a condition of any purchase.
1. What We Send
Two kinds of messages, both covered by the same opt-in:
- Account notifications — event registration and ticket confirmations, event reminders, changes and cancellations for events you registered for, 1:1 meeting bookings and reminders, and payment or subscription notices.
- Marketing — new events and announcements from communities you have joined.
Message frequency varies with your own activity and the events in your communities. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
2. How to Opt In
Opting in takes an account, because we send messages about your registrations, bookings and communities. From a signed-in session:
- Go to Profile → Notifications.
- Enter your mobile number under Text messages from Tribo.
- Check the consent box — it is never checked for you.
- Press Save preference.
We record the moment you check that box. Below is the exact form and the exact consent language it shows.
3. How to Opt Out
- Reply STOP to any message. You will get one final confirmation and nothing after it.
- Or uncheck the consent box in Profile → Notifications and save.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your account, your tickets, your bookings, or the notifications you see inside the app.
4. Help
Reply HELP to any message for our contact information. We do not provide customer support over text message — for assistance, email cto@cconnect.vip.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Your Number
We use your mobile number to deliver the messages described above and for account security. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and opt-in data and consent are never shared or sold. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
